The Masters Karting League (MKL) was founded on the belief that most adult kart racers are looking for a recreational, yet competitive, racing environment, with plenty of track time. Further, they are looking for a professionally run program that delivers on its promises and responds to the needs of its members. At its core, that is what the MKL is all about.
The guiding principles of the Masters Karting League are as follows:
1. To provide a friendly and respectful relationship with and among members
2. To provide fair and unbiased regulations and rulings (both competition and technical)
3. To provide maximum track time while adhering to a strict schedule
4. To provide amateur racers the knowledge and guidance to succeed
With these principles in mind, it must be stated that the Masters Karting League is not for everyone. As such, membership will be limited to those drivers meeting the criteria established by the league. Further, candidates unfamiliar to the league will be evaluated for two race events prior to acceptance, which will be determined by league officials. Once accepted as new members, drivers will be eligible to accumulate points toward the annual Driver Points Championship, as well as participate in league votes.
